Considering the recent pandemic situation Nutrition Security for Vulnerable Workers Project (NSVWP) has been initiated to support the vulnerable workers of different private sector specially at RMG. With the generous support of Global Alliance for Improve Nutrition (GAIN) Bangladesh, Change Associates implemented this project at three RMG factories.

The main objective of this project was to support those vulnerable private sectors (here RMG) workers who are affected in terms of their income as well as their daily food consumption.

The whole project was divided into two rounds (Round-1 and Round-2) where two thousand and five hundred (2500) individual RMG factory workers received healthy snacks at factory in between the breakfast and lunch. There were 1500 workers in Round one and remaining 1000 workers in Round two. In each round, there were fifty days of continuous distribution except weekends and holidays, where individual workers received selected snacks such as boiled egg, local fruits, biscuits and etcetera.
