The project was initiated in 2014 with the aim to improve the nutritional status of female workers in the RMG industry and improved day-care services at the workplace. Enhancing workers’ knowledge on health, regular consumption of nutritious foods, changing nutrition-related behavior, and improved day-care services at the workplace were the integral part of this capacity development project. Pilots were done with 4 factories and scale up in 20 more factories. A total of 37,475 lives have been impacted through capacity development and peer education system.
